The Economic and Social Research Institute published a report in 2010 based on a review of nearly 100 scholarly works on single-sex and coeducation which concluded that ‘attitudes to subject areas may become more gender-stereotyped in a coeducational setting.’”

BACK TO SCHOOL: HELPING BOYS MAN-UP IN READING
"The Center on Education Policy assessed the differences in reading scores between girls and boys and found the poor performance of boys 'the most pressing gender-gap issue facing our schools.' Nor is it an underclass or minority disparity. The lower scores of boys are found in every ethnic and socio-economic groups, including the privileged white children of college-educated parents."

VOTE FOR NON-UNION, SINGLE-SEX CLASSROOMS
“So, in non-unionized charter schools, kids do better. Single-sex classrooms, where the teachers are specifically trained to deal with how girls and boys learn are superior. If you don't have access to those, then try homeschooling. Notice how you teach your sons and daughters differently, because you know how to get their attention, and it's different with each gender.”

SINGLE-SEX MIDDLE SCHOOL AIMS TO DIVIDE AND CONQUER

"The federal No Child Left Behind Act in 2002 affirmed the legality of single-sex instruction,said Leonard Sax of the National Assn. for Single Sex Public Education. Since then, the number of public schools nationwide with single-sex classrooms has shot up from 11 to 540."
